Buen Camino – 16 km – Hospital
It’s not you deciding, the Camino provides.

We were lucky with the rain. It was raining in the morning before we started, we started dry. After a while the first drops. Getting the backpack covers and raincoats out. Just a short drizzle, then it stopped. No more rain for the day 😄

My left foot still hurts with every step, still walking. In Santiago the sprain shifted from the right to the left foot.
Some Kilometers walking then the first coffee shop. Was a reall nice one, Tostada y Tomate, coffee, orange juice.

Just thinking about the sprain in my ankle. The guy in the picture is doing the Camino in a wheelchair. If you think your problem is big, somebody will top it.

We are discussing where to go today. I thought Dumbria is a good option, but Dumbria is on the way to Muxia not to Finisterre. So we decided just to go to Hospital and have a longer walk tomorrow.

Once we found the Albergue in Hospital, a guy came out of the garden, opened the door and we could bring our backpacks in. Then we got a lift by car to a nearby Restaurant for the check in. We had a drink and a woman drove us back to the Albergue. At 18:30 she will pick us up and drive us to the Restaurant for having the Pilgrims menu. Every day is different!
There is a young French woman in the room, walking from the Brittany in France, Camino Norte in Spain, 2500 km, she started on 19th April.
We are just in a Restaurant. Claire from Holland sitting next to me is walking from Amsterdam, 3000 km in 111 days.
