Bom Caminho – 16 km – Carreço
It was a beautiful stay in Casa Carolina. I decided to walk less kilometres in one day, better for my feet and more time to rest or talk to people.
It was a good decision yesterday not to walk to Viana do Castelo anymore. Busy city, endless bridge to cross over Rio Lima. I was just in the right place in Anha.
It was an easy walk today, just 16 km, small villages, just countryside. I met Roland on the way, a German guy already stayed in the same Albergue last night. We walked together until Carreço. He did the Camino Francés just before, and he also realised the different spirit and community of people. Anyway it might be because of just 2 weeks, more or less, walking.
And then I reached Carreço already. Such a lovely rural place run by Hugo. It’s already the house from his family long time ago.
Albergue Casa do Sardao
I met Søren here, he is from Faro islands. I can’t remember met anybody from there. He is living in Denmark now. He says in Faro islands everybody is related with everybody. In Iceland they have even an app to check if you are related with the other.
Anyway we ordered Pizza for 19:00, the Restaurant will bring it.
