I made a yogurt with banana and papaya this morning. So I felt fit for the day. A little later I headed towards Mapusa to the post office to send my present to a friend. Outside of the post office is a lady sitting with a sewing machine, not an electric one but the old Singer foot-operated. She sews parcels into cotton before they will be sent, quite common in India. In the post office, I asked what to do to send a parcel to Europe. She gave me two forms of customs declaration and asked for two copies of my passport. I didn’t have the copies, nor that I have my passport with me. So I headed back to Assagao.
Back home I felt a bit strange in my stomach, I remember this feeling before I got sick due to some wrong food or bad water. So around lunchtime, I was lying down in my bed and didn’t move from there the whole day. I was not able to do anything and got quite some diarrhea all afternoon. At the neighbor’s property they have been doing some renovations for days, there was a loud cement mixer running all day long, which didn’t make it easier for me. Around 18:00 I was a bit better, but still very weak. I just went to the kitchen to fill up my water bottle. It is easy to get dehydrated. I was just sleeping, sleeping …
