True Knowledge
Awakening happens only if there is a dream. When the dreamer is found, the dream ends. Likewise, the dream of life ends when the source of the dreamer is found. The reality has neither dream nor awakening.
I thought this morning it’s time to visit Arambol Beach in the North of Goa. I have been there last time 10 years ago when I visited Goa with my Indian girlfriend. Kerry said that might be a good idea visiting Arambol, so he and Felix, Yunus, Rohid and I started around noon towards Arambol. It took us around 40 minutes to reach there.

In Arambol, there were mainly Westerners, the so-called alternative people, looking for some Yoga, Reiki, and Massages. Other people were looking for drugs here. The number of people 10 years ago was manageable. Nowadays it is packed with Indians on deckchairs. The beach was full of people like in Candolim Beach some days ago. Many Indian tourists arriving from Maharashtra find Arambol to be the first beach they can reach in the north of Goa. First, we arrived at the parking lot, where hundreds of cars and bikes had already taken place. Two guys at the entrance were selling the parking tickets. I was never sure in the past if they were authorized to sell these tickets, or if they were just pretending. Rohid was paying 60 Rupees for our three bikes.

We were walking along the beach for some minutes. There was a place called ‘Love Temple’, I am not sure anymore if it was there 10 years ago, I think it was, but I also know that memory is getting blurry and mixing up things. Anyway, it was still closed, Kabir mentioned it already, they don’t have a license for serving food. Many other shacks along the beach were closed by the officials because of missing licenses. Whether you get an official license or bribing officials (Baksheesh) is another question.

We decided to drive down the coast to Ashvem Beach where Zorba Vibes is located, it takes just 15 minutes. It’s much more relaxed here. A vast beach with a few people. We sat down in the Restaurant, enjoyed the warm ocean, or relaxed on deckchairs. We ordered some food for a late lunch. Felix couldn’t eat, his stomach was a bit sick from something in Anjuna last night. So we spent the whole afternoon in Zorba Vibes.
When driving back I lost the other ones in the traffic. Felix had an appointment to play football with some kids. At one point I stopped at a supermarket to buy some cheese, but they didn’t have it. So I bought an ice cream, delicious butterscotch. I sat outside next to the road for a while enjoying my ice cream. I already stopped buying and eating biscuits or other sweets, which I used to eat every night before sleep. But once in a while I just love to have something sweet.
The others were still not back. Kabir and I had a Mahamudra Meditation that night. It is an Osho Meditation. It starts with 30 minutes Latihan. Stand with closed eyes, allowing your body to be loose and receptive, waiting, and then cooperating when you suddenly feel an urge for your body to start moving. When your body is relaxed and allowing, subtle energies that are outside your control begin to move it. Let your highest possibility take possession of your body and do this. Just allow it to happen. This is Latihan. And witnessing has to be joined to it, remain a witness. Here is the link for a detailed description.
