Self-realization can happen at any time if the pure intelligence of the Self invokes its presence within to reveal ‘who I am’.
The first time I woke up at 05:00. I was still tired, so after a while, I fell asleep again. It was 07:45 when my sleep ended, this was quite long for me. Rammi came with my breakfast at 08:00 as we had arranged yesterday. Some toast with jam, pancake, omelet, and rotis. Some watermelon, papaya, mango and banana. The mango was quite sour, I didn’t eat any this time, in India was no season for it. It came to my mind that I could stay one or two days longer here, but I hadn’t decided yet. On the veranda next to mine they started with some construction, making the floor, etc. Somehow it follows me, after having this experience in Assagao, Goa. At 10:00 I started with my host for a tour with his Tuk Tuk. The plan was to visit first the “Nine Arche Bridge”, after the “Standing Buddha Temple”, and last but not least the “Ravana Waterfalls”.
It’s not an easy area to drive, with so many curves, gradients, and slopes. It took us four hours, then I asked my host to drop me at the Railway Station. I intend to buy a ticket for Nawaru Elya for tomorrow. At the Railway station, they told me that there was no network connection to make a reservation, I should come tomorrow. The trains will depart at 06:40, 09:40, and 11:00. It is as it is. From the station, I walked to the center of Ella. I stopped at a Restaurant and had a coffee while I was booking a place in Nawaru Elya, the train stops at Nanu Oya, four Kilometers to Nawaru Elya. Then I strolled through the town. It is a small town with thousands of tourists and Restaurants with music playing. I am not a fan of Ella, it is too touristic. To be honest I am tired of sightseeing, although there have been some nice places. I hope I will get a ticket for the train tomorrow.
I walked back to “Saveen View Ella”. It’s going always up for 25 minutes. Sometimes there are shortcuts with stairs, so I didn’t have to walk along all the slopes. When I reached there was an electricity outage, it was 16:00. My laptop had still power, so I could use the connection from my mobile. I was writing my blog and at 17:00 electricity was back. At 18:00 it was gone again. Rammi will bring me some dinner here at 19:00, it’s 18:40 and I am writing my blog with no light …
