I left for breakfast at Sathya’s this morning. Max and Holger were sitting there. Breakfast is always self-service here, including Idli, Sambal, and other things. A young guy from Italy was joining us and we all talked for a while. Then I left for Satsang.
Satsang is different and special every day. In the end, when Amma was talking she was blissed, she said it happens all by grace.
After Satsang, I spent a while in my apartment. It came to my mind that there are just a few days left at Arunachala. I am just enjoying my time here. Sarah and I were planning to have some lunch together. I thought about Garuda’s Restaurant or a place called Ramesh’s Garden. I saw this info in a WhatsApp group, HelpNet.Tiru. There is lunch every Saturday from 11:00 to 15:00. Ramesh supports underprivileged children in a small town nearby. He is a teacher and takes care of these children getting enough food. Ramesh’s Garden also sells a few second-hand clothes. I picked up Sarah at her apartment and we drove to Nandhini’s first. Sarah said she would be happy to get a coffee first. So we went to Nandhini’s. It’s always a nice place to be. When leaving for Ramesh’s Garden I had to look at Google Maps first where to go. A lady on a scooter said, “Just follow me”, I will come along there. We followed her. It was just some minutes to drive when we reached. It is a place outside of the city with a small garden and a beautiful view of Arunachala.
A few people were sitting, some were making music and singing, guitar and violin. We had a good time here with some nice people, we also had some tasty lunch with veggies from the garden. The project is based on donation, at least I could support the education and feeding of some children. We stayed for an hour or two before we left. Time to rest for a while.

I continued watching the movie “Life of Pi”. I have seen this movie years ago. Then I slept for a while until my phone was ringing. I forgot to switch it off, it was a call from Portugal, an unknown number. Probably my internet provider NOS. I don’t take calls from Portugal, they tend to charge a lot of money for international calls. I just had this issue when I came back from Sri Lanka. I changed the SIM card from Sri Lanka to Portugal and forgot to switch the mobile calls from Portugal to India. For India, I am using an eSIM on my phone. Then I tried to call the caretaker Pasupathi from my apartment four times until the voicemail was activated. NOS charged me four times €5,50.
I left to visit the Ashram, sitting down for a while and listening to Tamil Parayana. When I left I thought of having some Masala Dosa at Hotel Ananda Ramana. I got a message from Sarah, she was just leaving the Ashram. So we met again and had some dinner. After that, we left for a drink at the German Cafe.
Back in my apartment, I finished watching the movie “Life of Pi”.
