YOU BELONG TO ETERNITY

You exist in time, but you belong to eternity. You are a penetration of eternity into the world of time. You are deathless, living in a body of death. Your consciousness knows no death, no birth. It is only your body that is born and dies. But you are not aware of your consciousness; you are not conscious of your consciousness.

And that is the whole art of meditation: becoming conscious of consciousness itself.

I had a good rest last night, I definitely needed sleep. Ambara was writing me. She had Satsang until 12:30. I would come to Terrakotta Hotel to meet her. First I left my hotel and had breakfast in Bodhi Cafe nearby. Then I walked down the small road to cross the main road and walked further on the small roads towards the Ganga. I could remember many buildings and roads, it came all back in my memories. I reached Lakshman Jula, the bridge is under construction.

Lakhsman Jula

I walked down to the river, everything looked still the same. Nearby is the Ashram where was Satsang with ShantiMayi. She passed away this year. The Ashram is now pink.

I walked up the road again, it was still time before I would meet Ambara. I sat down in a small garden cafe and had some honey-lemon-ginger tea. I walked to her hotel and there she was. Tarangita from Osho Mevlana was also there. I haven’t seen Ambara for more than two years. We walked then to a Restaurant nearby and had some lunch with two other friends from her group.

Again we walked down to the river. As the bridge is closed we took a ferry to cross the Ganga. There is a bigger ferry or small speed boats. On the other side we rested for a while at the beach.

In town is a big Kirtan Festival with Hare Krishna devotees. It will last for one month. Ambara went first to some Gayatri Mantra singing. I tried to find the place, getting the bracelets to enter later. But I was on the wrong road and didn’t find it. So I was first in my hotel when Ambara sent me a message that she was now in, where the Kirtan would happen. I left the hotel and found it after asking somebody. The entry was free, many people were dancing already, some musicians singing Hare Krishna Mantras. I wasn’t in the mood to join it longer and left. I am in my hotel now and I feel I watched a cold. Hopefull,y it will not get worse until tomorrow. We planned to walk to Osho Gangadham.
