I fell very early asleep last night, even without undressing. My sleep was a bit restless then. I felt like going for breakfast where I had been with Max before, the Cafe is called Perky Beans. I enjoyed a very good muesli with fruits and an organic black coffee.
On the way to the Cafe, I saw a place where they are offering boat trips on the Phewa Lake. I would have a look on the way back. Back there, I asked about the boat trips. A small boat with a driver costs only 900 rupees (€5,75). I walked back to my hotel. I couldn’t sleep, I was not tired enough.
In the last days, it just feels like leaving here. I am curious about the Green Mandala Inn in the mountains of Kathmandu. I left again for a walk and had some Masala Dosa in one of the Indian Restaurants. There are quite many here in Pokhara. All the businesses, Restaurants, Hotels, money changers, and shops are on one road here. I didn’t feel to take a boat-trip anymore, it was quite warm anyway and there is no shade on the lake.
Later, I tried to book the flights from Kathmandu to Lisbon for the 25th. I failed several times and had to start from the beginning. The price for the tickets is quite high because it is short-term. It is better to book three months in advance. A flight in July would be around €600. In the end, I got the flights for €810. Just the baggage is €122. The flight is from Kathmandu-Delhi-Tiflis-Athens-Lisbon. In each airport, I have to collect my baggage and pass through security and customs. The routes are different now due to the war between Russia and Ukraine. The airspace over Ukraine is blocked for civil aviation. Fortunately, I still have an Indian Visa, and for Georgia I don’t need one with my German passport, and Athens is already European Union. Then I had a restless sleep for a while.
In the evening, I left again for a coffee. After that, I was sitting for a while on a bench next to the river.
Tomorrow will be more active. I had booked a sightseeing tour by bus with different locations. They will pick me up at 09:30 in front of the Temple Tree Resort & Spa.
