Can you handle the truth?

We measure reality according to our conditioning.

The last morning in the Green Mandala Inn arises. I was ready to get back to Portugal. I had breakfast with Max, some curd with nuts and fruits. After breakfast, I was walking the last time into the forest nearby. It is quite beautiful there, it feels like recharging. Walking along the forest, I was thinking about Portugal and how different it is here and in Germany. After being back I finished my packing, check out was at 11:00. Kunsang, she is the young manager from Green Mandala Inn stored my backpacks in the reception area. I had another coffee, just sitting on the veranda, I was relaxed.

My last lunch here with Max. It was time to leave. I ordered a taxi with the inDrive app. Max and I went down to the road, the driver called me. I guess he didn’t find the location. Not all drivers are confident to use this app. Anyway he didn’t show up. I went up to ask Kunsang to get me a driver. My phone lost also connection. Later I found out it was because it switched to the Portuguese SIM, might be caused by a restart. Kunseng was succesful, the driver arrived. I stored my baggage in the taxi and we headed towards the airport. It was enough time to check in. For the remaing money I bought some snacks and drinks, up to the last Rupee. The flight from Kathmandu to Delhi was 1h 55m.

On my way to Delhi

In Delhi it got a bit tricky. Although I was flying with IndiGo to Delhi and to Tbilisi I had to pick up my baggage in Delhi and had to check in again. Delhi doesn’t have a transit zone. I came to the immegration, had to fill out a document and got my stamp. I still had a valid Visa for India. Then I headed to the baggage claim and got my backpack. Next I had to walk to Terminal 3 for departure. First I checked in with my backpack, then again I had to pass the immigration, and last not least the security check.

I was in the airplane. When we started there was an announcement that we would ground in Ahmedabad first to refuel the airplane. There is a conflict between Pakistan and India. It’s always about Kashmir. The conflict accours already since 80 years. There were 26 people killed, both countries are blaming each other. Pakistan locked the airspace for Indian airlines. So we grounded in Ahmedabad and then had to fly around Pakistan. We should have arrived at 00:20 in Tbilisi the next day, instead we arrive three hours later and the flight from Tbilisi to Athens was already departed. What to do now?
