This will be the last day in Andrew’s home in Clayton Bay. Tomorrow morning, around 09:00, we will start towards Burra, which is 234 km from here. It’s straight North from here.

We finished packing with all the food we bought, and it seems we are well prepared. Everything fits perfectly in the car, just our personal suitcases will be stored tomorrow. Jina, one of Andrew’s neighbors, was visiting us with her big, beautiful white dog, a Maremma shepherd. We talked for a while, then she left.

After lunch, we placed some wooden boards on the grass for a delivery of wood for his home. We got around 4 cubic meters of wood from the neighbour and got it with Andrew’s 4-wheel drive in his garden. It will be firewood for the winter. We charged the radio devices, ready for the outback. Late afternoon we started a fire, burning lots of branches.

We spent around 2 hours at the fire before George left, and we made some dinner. Everything is prepared for tomorrow.
