Road trip – 263 km – Clayton Bay

The hotel was much better on the inside than it looked from the outside. There was a kitchen on our floor providing coffee, tea, water, orange juice, muesli and milk, bread, butter, and jam. We had breakfast before we left. There was a garage sale in town, not much, but lots of old stuff. We went into one shop, back in time.

Antiques in Snowtown

There was not much driving today. We stopped in Adelaide for a coffee. The city Center is pretty small, while the suburb of Adelaide is much bigger. We did some shopping in McLaren Vale, then reached Clayton Bay. The builders have already done a good job in Andrew’s shed. Walls and some windows were built in. They will continue on Monday. All the stuff from the car had to be unpacked. We got the tarp and the tent in the garden. It would dry fast there. It was still wet from Border Village three days ago.

We will stay for a few days here, then head off towards Melbourne, Wagga Wagga, Snowy Mountains, and Sydney.

Until now, we have done 8500 km.
