I still have a cold. My nose is not running anymore, but now I am coughing from time to time. It feels hard in the chest. Maybe I got it from Gopika, maybe it’s from the pollution. Usually, many people in Tiru are coughing. At least there is some blue sky today, I thought it would never happen here. The humidity in Tiru sometimes reaches 84%, which is also causing a grey sky, not just pollution.
I didn’t join Satsang today as I didn’t feel fit enough. It was a terrible night with a mosquito. It wouldn’t let me fall asleep. Either it was crashing in my ear or my wrists and ankles were itching. When I switched the light on, I mostly couldn’t see it, and when I could, I couldn’t smash it. When I switched the light off, it was back on. It must have been between 02:00 and 03:00 before I fell asleep.
I had some bread and cheese for breakfast. Then I went down to Gopika’s apartment for a hot shower. My shower on the rooftop only has cold water. Before 11:00, I drove to the Ashram and sat in Samadhi Hall. They would close the Ashram from 11:00 to 14:00. I purchased some Coke and peanut snacks before driving home. I would go to Edwin’s (Annai Cecilia Cafe) for lunch today. Some people were already sitting there, Pete, Jonathan and some I haven’t seen before. Jonatan arrived, and so did Sarah. Edwin is an excellent cook; he worked as a professional in a restaurant. There is a buffet with a variety of dishes. It is the same dishes every time. Lunch is there now on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
After lunch, I needed a nap. I was sleeping for two hours, which was really refreshing. Back to the Ashram, sitting in Samadhi Hall for a while. I had a chai opposite, texting Sarah to meet for dinner at 18:45 at Sarala’s Cafe. Jonatan joined us, and Pete just wanted to go, but then he stayed with us for a chat.
The rest of the evening I spent in my room, reading and watching Netflix and YouTube.
