Another morning in Tiru. I felt like joining Satsang this morning. I was early there before the door was opened. I met Alex, and we were sitting outside and had a talk. We were talking about my cough, and I remember saying that I would go to the hospital if it didn’t stop next week. The Satsang was very inspiring. I was sitting in the last row at the end of the room. When Satsang finished, I walked out early. I was close to the door.
I needed Petrol, so I was driving to the petrol station. I chose the shortcut passing The Inner Child Restaurant. The road near Chengam Road was completely blocked, just like Chengam Road itself. There was so much traffic that it had never been like this before. Slowly, I could drive towards the petrol station. It’s for sure easier with a scooter than with a car. I reached the petrol station and got a full tank for 430 Rupees. Driving back wasn’t easier. I tried to drive to some small roads, reaching the Ashram and supermarket. But I failed and was back on Chengam Road. But slowly, I reached the supermarket opposite the Ashram and bought some things. Back home, I felt quite exhausted.
Later in the afternoon, when I woke up from my nap, I felt quite bad. I was thinking about going to a Hospital. In the HELPNET.TIRU WhatsApp group, somebody mentioned the KVS Hospital. I was writing to Gopika, and she was asking a friend living a long time in Tiru. He recommended the Ahmuda Hospitals. First, I wanted to go tomorrow, because I felt so exhausted and feverish. I was sweating. But I changed my mind and went by scooter to the hospital. It was the right decision.
I parked my scooter, and there was a guard watching them. Entering the hospital, I went to the reception and explained my issue that I have been coughing for 10 days now. It just took two minutes, and I could enter the emergency room. Doctors and nurses were analyzing my issue and asking questions. I was on a life monitor system so they could see my breath and blood pressure. They asked me if I agree to make a CBC (Complete Blood Count), which means taking blood for analysis and doing a Computer Tomography of my chest. I agreed, it didn’t take long, everybody is working so efficiently and calmly here. The price for it is only 3150 Rupees (€30). Back in 2012, in Hamburg, I paid €625 for a CT for my knee. My insurance has paid it, fortunately. I was in the hospital for around three hours. I got some nebulization via a mask and antibiotics intravenously. All in all, I felt very protected here; it is all very professional. They wanted me to stay here for two days, but I decided to do the treatment locally. The chief physician came to talk to me. He suggested continuing for the next three days with nebulization and antibiotics. I would need to come in the morning and evening. There is an attached pharmacy to the hospital, making it easy to buy all the equipment needed for it. I also got some pills for relaxing the breath and stomach.

I was home around 20:30 and tired. But it was a good start for the healing process.
