Today it was the first time that I joined Satsang with Ammani. Ammani is an Indian woman born in Malaysia. Her house is a little bit outside town, it is green countryside here. I arrived on my scooter at 08:45. Satsang starts at 09:00. There was a Yoga class before, finishing at 09:00.
It is upstairs on the rooftop. Around 20 people are here, sitting on the floor. I found an empty chair in the back. Ammani was greeting us with a Namaste. Just sitting silently, no questions. On Sunday there is always Kirtan, then Satsang and Q & A.
We sat silently for 90 minutes. When I opened my eyes a bit I could see Ammani standing. She is moving slowly to each person in the room. I could feel clearly her energy, and I liked it. When Satsang ended she was smiling at us and left the rooftop.
Outside I went to my scooter when I heard a woman saying that she needs a lift. I said „I can take you“. She jumped on my scooter and we headed back towards the Ashram. Her name was Sophie, from France. I saw her several times before. She reminded me at a Brasilien woman I met at the Osho Festival in Portugal. Funny that her name is also Sophie.
I stopped near the Ashram and had a chai. Then I entered the Ashram to sit there for a while.
Back home I rested for a while and had a short nap. At 14:00 Chandra the cleaner would come. I wanted to hand over a clean apartment, Gopika will be back on Friday. I will leave on Wednesday for my new apartment. Chandra is a nice Indian lady, 67 years old. She speaks quite well English. She was cleaning everything while I went to the small shop nearby to get some milk and biscuits. When back I prepared chai for us and we had chai with biscuits. It was quite fun. She was cleaning for two hours, I gave her 500 Rupees, might be a bit too much, but she did well. Usually the price is 150-200 Rupees per hour.
Later I had my obligatory nap before I texted Sarah. She was in Kavin‘s Cafe, drawing and managing her new flat in England. We met there, had a drink and left later to Sathya’s for a Dosa.
Jonatan showed up there, later Kirsten and Pete as well. I haven’t been for a while in Sathya’s. Enough for today. I drove back home. Only two more nights in Gopika‘s spacious apartment.
