Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love. ~Francis of Assisi~

After 06:00, I was in the Ashram, sitting in the Meditation Hall before moving to Samadhi Hall, where chanting and milk are offered to Bhagavan.

It’s Sunday morning, and the last or second-last Kirtan with Upahar at Sunshine Guesthouse. Florence would pick me up here, then we would walk towards Sunshine Guesthouse. Florence’s apartment is just close by, next to Da Mantra Garden Cafe. On the way, I booked two spots for Edwin’s lunch later. There are fewer people now than in February, but still 50 or more, enough for a beautiful Kirtan. Gopika was there, Alexandru and Daniela, Mangala, Djamilla… In the end, Upahar announced that Daniela had created a QR code for a WhatsApp group; I just forgot to scan it. There will be one more Kirtan next Sunday for the end of the season.

After Kirtan, we walked over to Edwin’s. There are also fewer people now, maybe ten in all. Many people are leaving in March as it is getting hotter here, around 35 degrees now. Florence and I walked back towards our apartments. We stopped at Da Mantra Cafe for a chai-banana, which Florence was recommending. It’s a delicious smoothie, I’ve never tried before. We sat there for a while and talked. Somehow, we are already very familiar after just one day. When we left, she showed me the house where she stays. It has a beautiful view from the rooftop at Arunachala. It’s also green around and has less rubbish than in other places.

The day before, I placed a message in the HELPNET.TIRU group. Iwas asking if anybody could lend me a scale for my luggage. With SpiceJet from Chennai to Mumbai, I could only check in 15 kg. I need to know the weight of my suitcase. A lady named Kavita was responding. I met Kavita in front of the Ashram, and she gave me a luggage scale. I would try it later. I was in the Ashram again for a while. When I left, I drove to the petrol station. The plan for tomorrow was Satsang with Ammani and then driving to Gia Mantra, Florence would join me. It would be good to have enough petrol then.

Back in my apartment, I packed my suitcase so I would know the weight for check-in. It has 23 kg, which should be fine. I booked 10 more kg for around €60, so I had 25 kg in total. For the other flights, 23 kg would be OK. Everything for my flights is prepared now, just the Visa is still pending. I hope I will get a confirmation on Monday.
