There is no reaching the Self. You are the Self. You are already That. ~Ramana Maharshi~

I woke up early and drove to the Ashram at 06:00. The roads are nearly empty, and it is still dark. I love to sit in the Meditation Hall early in the morning when it is still dark. At 06:45, I moved over into Samadhi Hall for the chanting and milk offering.

Today I will go with Florence to Gia Mantra. We both have appointments for massages there. I picked up Florence at Da Mantra Garden Cafe at 09:30, and we started towards Gia Mantra. It is a 15-minute drive.

At the reception, the Indian lady, who is an Ayurvedic doctor, showed us where to go for our treatment. My masseur’s name was Satyamurti. I got a full-body massage for one hour and after that a 15-minute treatment in a steam sauna. This is a box where you are sitting, and just your head will be outside. It felt very soft on my oily skin. After that, I had a shower and sat down in the chill area on a comfortable bench.

Florence came just a few minutes later, and we shared stories about our lives. Djamilla sent me a message this morning and asked me to bring her Yoga mat, which she forgot at the pool last time. I could get that. At 13:00, it was time for lunch, a delicious buffet with Indian dishes. Florence didn’t feel well; it started already the day before. We left Gia Mantra before 15:00 and drove back to Perumbakkam Road. We planned to join Satsang with Ganga Maa in the afternoon.

I rested for one hour and set the alarm to avoid sleeping too long. Florence called me. She still didn’t feel well; it would be better for her to rest. I went into the Ashram then and joined the reading. Two different men are reading on different days from Bhagavan’s talks. One of them is very passionate, but talks very fast when explaining the content. It is not easy to follow. Also, there is still construction work outside with a noisy grinder.

I had a chai on the other side of the Ashram before I went home to rest. Florence called me later and said that she would go to Ahmudam Hospitals for a check. I hope it’s nothing serious.
