The end of this journey, the last day just travelling back to Barril de Alva. I left the Albergue before 09:00. 20 minutes walk to Santiago Bus Terminal.

At the bus terminal I had a coffee and croissant. I met Gerrit and Sandra there, they are also going to Porto getting their flights to Germany.
It was a bit confusing, two buses to Porto, platform 18 and 19. My baggage was already in the wrong bus and I had to change it. I left Santiago.

I had a break here for 45 minutes.
Time for a coffee and baguette.

Waiting for the last bus in Coimbra towards Santa Comba Dão.

Wow Chandresh! I just finished reading and it was nice to read your adventures. It must be nice to have a daily goal and being busy just doing that, while meeting all kinds of different souls walking along the paths. Looking forward to read again one of your Caminho-walks. It will be strange to be here without your visits tough. Lets see where life is taking us: changes everywhere, a lot of movement. I wish you all the best on your journey back to the South again, where you once started your Portugal-adventure. I will keep your visits in my memory and untill the next meeting somewhere. Grande abraço, Julian.
Thank you so much Julian for your friendship during my stay in Barril. It was always a pleasure spending time and talking with you, having a nice coffee. The Caminho was done and it again was a pleasure and inspiring experience to walk and meeting people from all over the world. My van is packed again and ready to go Monday morning. There is no such thing like an ending, it’s just where you are leaving the story. A new story will start in the south. I wish you all the best Julian. So keep your spirits high and may you always be blessed 🙏💛💙
