Buen Camino – 22 km – Azofra
The wise learns from everything and everyone, the normal from his experiences, and the stupid knows everything better. ~ Sokrates

Leaving Navarrete and crossing endless vineyards. I was walking with Rose today, a French pilgrim. We have the same speed when walking, means not so fast.

I was thinking to buy a cream for my sore feet in the pharmacy. Before entering Nájera there was a Portuguese musician on the path. He played guitar and was singing. And what to say, he was selling a cream made of different herbs and ginger etc. So I got one. Rozenn was just saying “C‘est un cadeau du chemin“, Its a gift from the road.

There was no shade for hours, just vineyards and rocks and road …

Coming close to Azofra, my feet are hurting, the rest is well, my body, my mind.
We are happy to have it done for today. Checking in and I got room number 1. The rooms here having two beds each. Entering the room, who was in? Jan, the nice Dutch guy I met in Puente la Reina, and in Los Arcos … We are both happy to share one room. His brother René and his wife Sondra are back to Holland, Sondra didn’t feel well.
