The cause for objective reality is the subjective reality (‘I’ -sense).

This morning I had breakfast again at Tasty Cafe. There are always very few people in the morning. Before 08:45 I left for Satsang. These days it is quite easy to find an empty chair. Alex was also here. Dani is still in her Vipassana Retreat. In a way it is funny that the mind is looking for answers that it can’t understand, to calm down itself. Who am I? There is a skeleton with muscles, blood, and flesh around it. A brain encapsulated in a skull. That is not me, it is just an outer manifestation of consciousness, it is form. Consciousness, the higher power, however you want to call it, is working through it.

I went home after Satsang, I will maybe meet Alex later in the Ashram. From 11:00 – 14:00, it is closed. I tried to sleep a bit but couldn’t. There was a restless feeling in my system. I was around 14:30 in the Ashram but didn’t see Alex. I just sat down in the Samadhi Hall and meditated. When I left the Ashram I was a bit hungry, so I bought some Samosa nearby, you get three for 20 Rupees.

That’s the other side of India. I was sitting in my favorite chai place opposite Sri Ramanasramam when this poor guy was suddenly on the road. He didn’t seem to have enough power anymore to move himself. I finished my chai and walked towards the road. Many Indians were passing by. There are everywhere many Indian’s. He asked me to push him in his wheelchair, so I did. He was able to steer his wheelchair. On the way he offered me some water, that was all he could offer me. It was only 100 meters when we crossed the road and stopped at the side. He tried to tell me something about his father and mother. He asked me for my name and said I was like a father to him. At least I was able to give him a little money. What to say? Somehow this touched me deeply.
It will remind me how small my problems are compared to his.

I thought the house cleaning would appear at 18:00, also to change my bedsheets, but nobody came. It feels like in Portugal, they are saying one thing and then doing something else. I didn’t mind and left for dinner. This time I chose the Amrutham Andhra Restaurant. I have been there once before when I was invited by an Indian guy at Sathya’s Guesthouse in November. I ordered Malai Kofta and Jeera Rice with chapati, and it was very delicious.

Enough for today!
