Ahankara is not a mistake, it’s a false veiling. Understanding this is jnanam.
I woke up quite early, around 05:00. This always happens when I fall asleep early. So I had time to read and write, learning Portuguese. I haven’t focused much on our new app in the last few weeks, but I will spend more time on it soon. I didn’t feel like having breakfast this morning. For a moment I thought I could stop at Sathya’s on the way before Satsang. But I discarded the idea. At 08:30 I left my apartment and headed towards the Sri Jnana Ganga Mandiram Ashram. I reached there just before 08:45 when the door was opened. Then I had to wait until 09:30 when Amma appeared and we had Satsang. I was sitting outside for a while, enjoying the warmth of the morning and watching people doing their things.
After Satsang, I drove to “The Inner Child Restaurant” for brunch. I had a veggie burger with chips, but somehow it was not very nourishing. I don’t have to do this again. It is like many things in life, try and error, love it, or leave it. Without trying you will never know. How do you want to know the taste of an apple if you never tried it? I went back to my apartment after breakfast.
I am always early looking for a place to stay when I know where I am going next. In this case, I will go to Rishikesh on 20.03.2025, I have already the bus and flight tickets. I will meet my friend Ambara there, I have been with her to Rishikesh back in February 2020. I was looking for a place to stay when I realized that the routes on Google Maps never use the bridge to Lakshman Jhula, but the bridge to Ram Jhula. I was reading then that the bridge is closed and they will build a new one. The floor will be transparent so you can see the river underneath. Jonatan said that this is not a good idea, people will even hang around more on this bridge to make selfies. I will try to find accommodation close to Ambara’s, so we can meet easily without walking for an hour. So I will book something for a week and then apply for a stay in Osho Gangadham Ashram from 27.03.2025, Ambara will leave Rishikesh on this day.
After my nap, I washed some underwear and my white cap. I bought a piece of this blue ‘Rin’ soap before. I drove to the Ashram and meditated for a while. when I left I had a coconut drink on the road, I love coconut. It was still too early for dinner, so I went home. Jonatan didn’t answer my message yet, I asked him to have dinner somewhere later. So around 19:00 I left for Sathya’s and had some Masala Dosa. A guy has taken place opposite of me, I saw home before at Satsang. Then Jonatan came suddenly in. The guy’s name was Max and he was from Australia. We had a good talk, he has also since 50 years around India. So the day passed by, I bought an ice cream on the other side of the road and headed home to eat it.
