Patterns of Mind
The desire to perform an action when there is no need for it invites karma. Keeping oneself inactive when a step needs to be taken also invites karma.
After waking up and doing my morning stuff, I went directly to Satsang. There was a lady this morning sharing a story about Balaji, an Indian Sadhu. Balaji is in a hospital, he has a broken rib, a long time not treated. I was reading the story already in a WhatsApp group where she was collecting money for his treatment. I remember she was collecting around €1000. She was crying while sharing this. The treatment will be far more difficult and it needs more money and care for Balaji. So it became all too much for her, she didn’t expect this. Amma said when you are starting an action like this, there will be consequences. This is simply karma.
It is nice to have a routine like Satsang. Satsang let me abide in myself. For me life here at Arunachala is taking action without expecting anything. To surrender is not as easy for me as self-enquiry. According to Ramana Maharshi, the two paths for self-realization.
The roads are back to normal, all the Indians came for Maha Shivaratri, left already. I think I will do the Pradakshina next full moon again, this will be on 14.03.2025, one week before I go to Rishikesh.
The day was passing without any bigger activities or incidents. Just a smooth day again to read and write, or working on the project, creating an app.
