Patterns of Mind
The nature of the mind is exclusion. Awareness is all inclusive.
I haven’t been for a while in Tasty Cafe for breakfast. This morning I decided to go there. I enjoyed a fruit salad with curd and an obligatory black coffee. Then it was time for the last Satsang this week. With some topics, Amma will speak more intensely. I don’t know anymore what the last question was, but Amma was then speaking about truth. She said it is not a question about wrong or right, but about truth. This is a completely different quality.
I made a date with Alex for lunch again. We would meet at 12:30 in the German Cafe. I ordered the same veggies we had the night before, but the taste and texture was completely different today. Maybe another cook prepared the dish? It was more gravy the night before.
I wanted to finish my booking for Osho Gangadham in Rishikesh. But somehow the conversation on WhatsApp with a guy from that place was a bit irritating for me. It is with 2000 or 2500 rupees per night, not the cheapest, there are other rooms without an attached bathroom for 1200 rupees. When he was writing “In janki kutir u have to use common washroom” I became doubtful. Also, advance payments can be only done by UPI, which is an Indian payment system, but you need an Indian bank account for this, which I don’t have. I could give some cash to somebody in a Restaurant to pay via UPI for me, this would work. But somehow I don’t feel much to go there. It is a beautiful place at the Ganga river, but I would have to join the program, starting with Dynamic Meditation at 06:15. Somehow I feel not doing this anymore. It is not a need for me, I would just do it to do something, without expecting any result. I have done all these Meditations for 45 years, in many different places in the world. it is enough. The last message in this conversation was the QR-code for UPI. I didn’t respond to this anymore.
I was sleeping for maybe two hours in the afternoon. After slowly coming back, I left to drive to the Ashram. I was sitting there for a while and listened to the Tamil Parayana, an alternating singing by men and women. I was not hungry, so I skipped dinner. I just went to the Lassi House having a banana milkshake.
