Buen Camino – 19 km – Tosantos

Leaving this lovely place, the house of smiles (La Casa De Las Sonrisas). We had a short breakfast and on the road again. Rozenn and I are walking together again, we are in the same speed. 19 km to Tosantos.

Two pilgrims from Korea

Endless paths along the road. Listening to the sound of cars and no shade. Passing some small villages. It’s Saturday, just few people to see, no café.

Here we go
Piece by piece

Coming close to Tosantos. Jan arrived already, he called me and said that there are enough free beds in Albergue Los Arancones. Just a few kilometers.

Step by step
Tosantos in view

Just arrived in Tosantos before the rain started, thunder was already to hear

  1. Ola again Chandresh, I had not visited your blog since quite a few days. Now so much enjoying following you day by day, and your photos are excellent! its bringing back a lot of memories of when me and River had our pilgrim experience… part of me would love to be there with you walking all those km once again, and I know it would be a very different experience.
We really took our time and stayed at times 2 or 3 days in one place for our feet to recover, especially when I had tendonitis in my feet. How are your feet now? I hope that special ointment helped your blisters. How lovely that you have these new friends that are walking more or less same pace as you. I am just remembering all the new friends we made along the way, at times they seemed to go on ahead, but sure enough we would meet up with them again and again….. much love and Buen Camino! Emma

    • Good morning Emma, so nice to read from you. Yes, the Camino is a deep experience and I am sure this will stay deep in memories. My feet still hurt, the blister is healed. Will buy new shoes in Burgos today. Don’t buy shoes from WMshoes like I did. They were delivered from China. The sole is too soft, feel all the small stones. Just prepared my backpack, will see if I get a coffee in the bar. Much Love, Chandresh
