I didn’t feel like joining Satsang again. I was still coughing; something was blocked in my throat. So I more or less rested. Outside, construction is underway, and there is a lot of noise as drainage is being installed for a new building. But mentally, I am good; it is a question of acceptance. But at the same time, I would love to have more strength and feel comfortable in my body again. I am drinking a lot of honey-lemon-ginger tea, sucking on Koftel or Kanthil, and rubbing my chest with white Tiger Balsam.
Before 11:00, I left for the Ashram, where I sat for a while meditating. I had a chai at my favorite shop and let the time pass. I was messaging with Sarah, and we wanted to meet at Garuda Restaurant. Sarah is just looking for a new apartment, as she has been staying longer in Tiruvannamalai. Around 12:00, I was driving towards Garuda Restaurant, and there were quite a few people already. The Restaurant has only four tables. I sat down at a round table where a young German man was already sitting. We had a nice talk when Pete arrived and joined us. Sahrah was arriving, but had to sit at another table.
After lunch, I was driving with her to Da Mantra Cafe. There would be a Christmas Day Menu on the 25th for lunch. I called them before for a reservation, just wanted to be sure that they added me. I was not on the list yet. Sarah knows Matt, who is managing Da Mantra Cafe. We went to Matt’s house, where he would change some money for Sarah. We sat for a long time talking about Indian culture and behavior. Later, about crypto trading, I don’t remember how we got there. The typical gossip, where you jump from one topic to the next.

Sarah and I left to have a juice at The Inner Child Restaurant. They have good smoothies there. When we got hungry, we were driving around the corner. There is the Amrutham Restaurant. Authentic Indian food, and somehow only Indian guests here. I have been here a few times before. We shared some Paneer Butter Masala, Malai Kofta, Rice, and Raita. It’s really delicious here. Malai kofta is a North Indian dish of fried dumplings (koftas), usually made from mashed potatoes and paneer, served in a rich, creamy curry.
Later, I dropped Sarah at the corner of Post Office Road; she wanted to walk back home. Sometimes it’s good to move a bit. Honestly, I am doing nearly everything on my scooter.
