Patterns of Mind
The expectation and the thought of action only makes the action bound, but the action itself is not binding.
And again I woke up at 05:00 and couldn’t sleep anymore. Once I wake up, I am done sleeping. Maybe my nap in the afternoon is too late, so I need less sleep at night. I left for Satsang, but before I stopped for a chai opposite the Ashram. There was still time. Satsang was great today.
The Supreme Initiation is Silence
A lady had questions about Shiva and Guru, and how to contact Shiva directly … Amma said that you are just confusing yourself with all this, it is just a saying. Guru is Shiva and Shiva is Guru. I felt Amma’s presence very deep today.
I had some brunch with Dani and Alex at the German Cafe. They will leave early afternoon by bus to Bangalore. Probably we will meet later this month in Rishikesh again.
On the way back, I stopped at Sathya’s to help Holger with his banking. He had problems accessing his German bank with his mobile.
I was back then in my apartment and slept for two hours. Later I went to the Ashram. I sat there for a while, listening to the Tamil Parayana. I just thought about moving on, I got hungry. An Indian lady came close, my eyes were closed. I just heard somebody saying “Excuse me Sir, excuse me Sir”. She asked me to move a bit, so she or her mother could sit there. I was distracted, but wanted to leave anyway. Then I couldn’t find my Flip Flops. Maybe somebody else is wearing them now. Perhaps I just didn’t find them. I went back with my scooter without my Flip Flops, and I still have another pair. But I didn’t feel like having dinner anymore, although I am quite hungry. Sometimes things get out of hand, probably more often than I would like to admit.
I was recording a minute of Tamil Parayana here. This singing is every day in Samadhi Hall, alternating singing of men and women.
