This morning I did my laundry. Some days ago I was buying a peace of washing soap, easy to do some hand-washing in a bucket, same as on the Camino. Then again breakfast at Tasty Cafe. I had a curd (yoghurt) with muesli, honey and fruits. It was quite a lot, so I didn’t have lunch later. When arringing my laundry on the washing line I met this young Indian guy again. He moved in yesterday in an upper floor. We had a longer talk about travelling, jobs and spirituality. In the end he invited me for dinner at 19:30. He is a young guy, 24 years and in IT business.
So no lunch today but a nap. Last night the mosquitos bothered me again so my sleep wasn’t really good. In the afternoon I was driving to the Ashram, straight to the Meditation Hall for a while, then chanting in Samadhi Hall.
Sannihith, that’s his name, picked me up at 19:30 and we had a very delicious dinner in Ananda Ramana Restaurant. We were driving with his motorbike, a Royal Enfield. For those who are interested the link here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Enfield
It’s raing again, I had to remove my laundry twice from the roof today.

Is it normal, raining at this time of the year?
The rainy season in Tamil Nadu, India, is mainly determined by the northeast monsoon (also known as the “winter monsoon”). This rainy season usually lasts from October to December.
Here is an overview:
– Main rainy season: October to December
– Peak rainfall: November (usually the rainiest month)
– Rare rains due to southwest monsoon: May to September (less pronounced in Tamil Nadu than in the rest of India)
Tamil Nadu lies in the rain shadow of the Western Ghats, which is why it receives less rain during the southwest monsoon (June to September). However, the northeast monsoon often brings heavy rainfall, which is crucial for agriculture and water supply.
hmmm, interesting, I did not know that… you won’t forget anymore, with all that rain pouring down…
