CANDLE OF AWARENESS
Buddha says: Light the candle of awareness in your heart, and your whole being will radiate compassion.
I felt better today. My nose has stopped running, I still feel an irritation in my chest. I went out for breakfast to Bodhi Cafe, but it was before 09:00 and they didn’t open yet. So I walked down the road and along the main street, but there were no appropriate Restaurants or cafes, at leat not where I would like to stay now. I turned left into the smaller road to look for another Cafe. I decided this morning to join Satsang with Ambara’s group around Naropa in Osho Gangadham. I should be there at 10:45, and Satsang starts at 11:00. I would need a taxi, so I thought of going directly there after breakfast. Suddenly a guy was asking me if I needed a taxi. Existence is in tune with me. I said to him that I would be back after 10:00 and then he could drive me to Osho Gangadham. I realized I had forgotten my water bottle, so I walked back to my hotel first. I filled up my water bottle, they have a water dispenser with filtered water in the hotel and walked down to Chakra House Cafe. I haven’t been there yet. A nice place where you can sit outside or inside on the ground floor or first floor. It is quite spacious. I realized that I had to make my order directly at the counter, no waiter would come. I ordered some pancakes with fruits and syrup and an Americano. I had to wait more than 20 minutes before my pancakes and coffee would be served. Anyway, I was on time, and at 10:15 I met my driver. It is only a 10-minute drive to the Ashram.
I was here with Ambara five years ago in February 2020. We spent three weeks in Rishikesh, visiting the Ashram just for one day. It still looked all the same. There was Satsang at 11:00. Around 100 people attended here. First there were some practical announcements about lunch and other things, and then we sang an old Osho-Sannyas song. Then Satsang started. Naropa was talking for a while, then somebody would sit in front of him, asking a question, and he would respond. This continued with three or four more people. In the end, we sang another Osho-Sannyas song. By the way, Naropa is an old Osho Sannyassin.
For lunch we had to queue up, there were several delicious Indian dishes. Outside there were tables to sit and eat. Before Kundalini Meditation at 16:00, we had time to take a dip in the Ganga. The water seems to be quite clean here. It was just refreshing to spend some minutes in the water. It is not possible to go deeper into the river as there is a strong current towards Rishikesh. Rafting boots with shouting people are coming all day long, it is a continuous stream of boots.

We did the Kundalini Meditation at 16:00. Without going into details, Kundalini Meditation has four stages. The first stage is shaking your whole body, the second stage is dancing, the third stage is sitting silently and the fourth stage lying down. There is different music for the stages except for the last stage.
After Kundalini Meditation I spent some time with Ambara on the beach. Evening Meeting would be at 18:30.

The Evening Meeting was without video, just audio. There will be a part of an old Osho discourse in audio. If you like to know more about the Osho Evening Meeting you may follow the link.
After the Evening Meeting, I called my taxi and had a quick dinner. The taxi was arriving and got me back to Rishikesh, I was quite tired but happy that I felt already so much better today.
