Road trip – 106 km – Toora><Warragul

Today we would drive to Warragul where a friend of Andrew‘s lives. It‘s around a 90 minutes drive. Warragul means „Wild dog“ in the Aboriginal language. It has 14.000 inhabitants. Warragul is the center of western Gippsland and the administrative center of the Baw Baw Shire local government area. The surrounding area is primarily used for dairy farming and other specialized agriculture. The region has long been known for its production of delicacies.

We reached there at noon, went out to have some lunch in an Italian Restaurant. We had a drink in another pub. Then we had a 10 pin Bowling match. They charged AU$23 for a game per person. That’s pretty expensive, we paid AU$12,50 in Geelong recently.

Later we had dinner in Anni‘s house. It was a relaxed day.
