The Maharshi called Arunachala the spiritual Heart of the world. Aruna, which means ‘red, bright like fire’, does not signify the mere fire that gives off heat. Rather, it means Jnanagni, the Fire of Wisdom, which is neither hot nor cold. Achala signifies hill. Thus, Arunachala means ‘Hill of Wisdom’.
I was sleeping quite long, until 07:30. I think I am already done with a jetlag as I didn’t sleep for two nights while travelling. I went to the Ashram in the morning, just to relax. They have a full day program here, chanting, milk offering, Puja, things like that. I feel always very silent inside when I am here.

I don’t participate in all the events, just how it feels. Anyway it is just the second day and I have some other things to manage. The day before I left Portugal my laptop gave up, something wrong with the USB hardware, then it stopped completely working. So I went out in the afternoon to get a new one. I tried first at KBM computers, saw it in Google maps. But these shops don’t sell new laptops, but used ones. It is difficult to talk to these people, not because of English but they are always busy with something else and tell you to come back tomorrow. So I had some Masala Dosa, one of my favourite Indian dishes, bought some sweets and walked along the road.

Suddenly I saw a big electronic shop, very modern, Reliance Retail Ltd. So I went in and they had a good variety of laptops from all brands. I choose a Lenovo ideapad.
I am just missing WiFi in my guesthouse, so I have to use my phone as a hotspot, limited data, but it works. Mobile data are much cheaper in India than Portugal.
