Road trip – 177 km – Cooma
“Take only memories, leave only footprints.” ~Chief Seattle~
Another morning in Victoria. This pub was pretty old. It could have been cleaner here, and it was smelly. It was the typical smell of stale beer. The windows looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned for ages. Leaving the room, there was a smell of cigarette smoke. Today, we would change the state from Victoria to New South Wales. We were driving 170 km, and the vegetation slowly changed as we reached the mountains. It changed from fertile green to brown grass. It reminded me of Portugal in summer.

We stopped in Nimmitabel for lunch and coffee, then drove towards Cooma. In Cooma, we got plenty of information in the Info Center. On booking.com, I could find a hotel for a good price. In Cooma are many hotels, so our hotel was pretty empty. There was a nice bloke who upgraded us for free to an apartment. So we had separate rooms for tonight, a kitchen, and a lounge. Cooma is at an altitude of 800 meters.
