If it were otherwise, we would not exist
Lazy Sunday! I went down for breakfast to Satya’s cafe. Nero, the son was there today, back from his work in Chennai. He is a police officer. I showed him the old defect router and that I was buying a new one. He spoke with his father and they will buy this router, deduct it from my bill. They were happy I installed it and and made it run. I spoke shortly to the father that I will extend my stay here for 1 or 2 weeks. It’s OK with him.
For I while I was meditating in the Ashram and had my 9 rounds around the shrine in Samadhi Hall. I houghy it’s good to try something new and my scooter dropped me at the German Bakery. I had a Papaya juice there, was not so delicious, I think the Papaya was too fresh. On the way back I was buying some bananas and Samosa. Sometimes I skip lunch in a Restaurant, just eating a little. Somehow my digestion works very well here in India.
So I had my obligatory nap in the afternoon, usually between 1 and 2 hours. Again to the Ashram straight into the Mediation Hall and then for chanting in the Samadhi Hall.
In the evening again somthing new, I tried first time Garuda Restaurant, a small place near Kavin’s cafe. I got some Dosa, veggies and chutney there, and self-made Masala. The woman, her name is Amuda, has her own garden for veggies, cooks only with coconut- and mustard oil. It was delicious, everything is well made. She really takes care about the ingrediants and food quality. She told me that her grand parents lived to be 97 and 110 years old. Her mother was sitting there, already 87 years old, looked very fit. She separated from her husband 4 years ago when living in Mumbay, he is a drunkard. So she makes her living here and she is doing well.
Back to my place, I saw Jonatan sitting in Sathya’s, I jumped in to have a chat with him.
My friend Davina was asking me in Portugal before I left to India, for what I am going there. I said I am going there for Mediation and food. It’s really my daily life here, besides some computer work and watching movies or series.
