For breakfast at Sathya’s, I was the first guest at 08:00, Idlis, and all the stuff was just on the counter. You can serve yourself here for breakfast. A short stop for a good coffee at Tasty cafe, then to Satsang with Amma. I enjoy her presence more and more. Amma has to deal with all kinds of questions about the mind and the self. Sometimes, the longer the question or comment, the less I don’t get what this person is trying to understand. There was a basic question today, why I am here in this body, in this form, when there is so much suffering? The same question you could ask about physics. Why is there something and not just nothing? Amma said, who is asking this question, the form or the self? Of course the form. I think form belongs to consciousness, consciousness loves to play with forms.

For lunch, I was the first time at Garuda Restaurant. Amuda makes a very good Thali. A Thali is generally a tray with different cups for delicious food. There are many variations in different states in India.

Thali with Chapati and Papadam

After my afternoon nap, I was in the Ashram. It is raining a lot today, better to drive slowly. Driving is anyway never fast here in this traffic, around 30 km/h. I talked with Jonatan about the traffic in India and Indonesia. In Indonesia they are more aggressive and faster, as a pedestrian you really have to be careful, in India, they break or drive around you.

I just came in time to do one round along the shrine in Samadhi Hall. Then I was for an hour in the Meditation Hall. It was quite full, outside it was raining. I found a place in one corner of the wall. Next to me was a dog relaxing, I never saw a dog inside here, guess he avoided the rain as well. He was silently lying down. Some days ago I saw a dog walking during the chanting in Samadhi Hall. I didn’t see him enter, he must have come from the side door. He was so gracious and silently walking through the hall, it came to my mind that he looked a bit blessed 😀

I had dinner at 19:00 in the Ashram today, was also very delicious.

I decided today to stay for two weeks longer here, before going to Goa. I want to meet Kabir in Goa, the village is Assagao, and he is a German living there for many years.
