Again, I visited the hospital this morning. I got nebulization and antibiotics. Before I left, I had to pay as usual. I was in contact with Sarah. We would meet in Arunagiri Cafe for a juice. We sat outside and had our juice. It’s not a very long distance to Post Office Road, but more or less quiet here. We got hungry and were driving to the German Cafe close by. But it was Monday and the Restaurant closed. We just took a look at The Dreaming Tree Restaurant on the same road. There is a lift, and the Restaurant is on the third floor. It’s a comfortable place, the food is very good, but expensive for Indian standards. I ordered Penne Arabiata, didn’t have any pasta in India yet. There was a Canadian lady and a Japanese gentleman at our table, and we had a good chat.

Gopika would be back earlier in January. The original plan was that I would stay until 21.01.2026 in her apartment. Gopika sent me a contact from an Israeli guy she knows. I contacted him, but the ground floor of his house was already booked. I asked Sarah, and she might know something. At first, we went to the house where she stays. I asked the lady about a room or an apartment. She showed me a room on the rooftop, a small room, which would be available on 15.01.2026. Then we went to Shiva Mantra Residence. This house is close to the Da Mantra Cafe and the house where Sahra lives. All around Perumbakkam Road. There were several apartments available. From the rooftop is a beautiful view of Arunachala and the lake on the other side. I was attracted by one apartment with a small kitchen and a balcony. There was a bedroom and another room. For 15.000 Rupees it would be sufficient for me. The area seems to be quieter, no construction like in the area where I live now. I would think about it.

There is a new small Cafe called Bonjour Cafe. It’s at the corner of Perumbakkam Road where Kavin’s Cafe and Sunshine Guesthouse are located. We were the only guests, and it was not easy to get what we wanted. I think there are too many Cafes and Restaurants now, they can’t all make a fortune. We just had a coffee there, and he organised some croissants. Same with the buildings, in the end, there will be lots of apartments available, a big competition.

Being home, it was too late for a nap as I had to go to the hospital soon. In the hospital, it was the same procedure with nebulization and antibiotics. I went for a chai, being in the Ashram for a while, and got two coconut balls from the German Bakery.

I fell asleep early today as I didn’t have a nap.
