Road trip – 262 km – Bremer Bay
There was a little rain in the night. I woke up at 05:30 and couldn’t sleep anymore. Before 07:00, we left the tent and moved all the stuff into the car. The forecast didn’t show more rain, but who knows. The forecast is not necessarily right. It was good to leave the tent and tarp under it for a while outside to dry. The sun was shining a bit, and there was some wind. We had breakfast first. I was looking where to go today and saw Bremer Bay, just in the middle, before Esperance. It is located on a river close to the ocean. To Esperance it’s more than 500 km. After breakfast, we packed the tent and tarp into the car and headed on. Just on the road, the rain would start.
We stopped in Albany, a town with 30.000 inhabitants and a war memorial. There was a beautiful view from the top of the hill.

We got some food from IGA in Albany and drove to another sightseeing point. Then we had a coffee in a nice place called Kate’s Cafe. We fueled up the car before driving towards Bremer Bay. There was not much left and right on the road today, all kinds of different trees. In one region, the trees were all burnt for kilometers.

We reached the Bremer Bay Caravan Park, checked in, and got a nice spot for our tent. Tomorrow morning we will have a look at the beach close by.
