The last day of 2025. A year full of experiences and adventures, inside and outside. I have been in six different countries this year: Germany, Portugal, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Australia. It feels like my travels have come to an end for this time. Back in Portugal, I will have a new home base in Alta Vista, Monchique. I will get an ecohouse to live in after seven years of living like a Nomad.

In Tiruvannamalai, I am enjoying the Ashram and Arunachala, Satsang, and mind-like people around. Also, I love the Indian kitchen here. It is an inner journey as well as an outer journey. When the inner and the outer become one, I will be complete.

I have been in the Ashram this morning, bought some tomatoes, cucumber, and honey. For Sarah’s birthday, I got a box of organic soaps and creams, all good for dry skin. Also, I got a little bottle of glue, maybe I can fix my flip-flops, which got broken in the mud. On the way home, I stopped in Post Office Road to buy some shirts. Kashmiri shops are selling all these clothes, as well as jewelry and statues. I got three shirts, one from linen, one from hemp, and one from handloom cotton.

I went back to Chengam Road to withdraw some money from the SBI ATM. I spent some time back home before I left for lunch at Edwin’s. There would be a special North Indian buffet today. I already know quite a few people here. After Edwin’s Sarah, and I left to have a juice in Sarala’s Cafe. We were sitting there for a while with Cassandra and others. Cassandra, I met the first time. She is from San Francisco.

Back home, I had a nap before I left for Da Mantra Garden Cafe. We changed our minds and did not join the event in Aruna Village. Matt, the owner of Da Mantra Garden Cafe, said we can sit at the VIP and staff table. It’s a cozy place on the stage. There were Camilla and Jim, Matt and a friend of his, Sarah, and me. We celebrated Sarah’s birthday and had a delicious dinner.
