Road trip – 106 km – Wagga Wagga><Junee
I slept long today, until 07:30. I got the bed in the room, Andrew had some cushions from the veranda and was sleeping on the floor. Today was the day to drive to the Licorice & Chocolate Factory in Junee. Andrew stopped in Wagga Wagga to get a haircut, but they were too busy. So we headed towards Junee, around 50 km.
There was a hairdresser, he would be open until 15:00. So we had time for the Licorice Factory. There was a Restaurant, a woman with a beautiful voice was singing and playing guitar. There was a shop and a garden to sit outside.

We had some lunch, bought some licorice and listened to the music. In Australia it is famous to cover licorice in Chocolate. All kinds of chocolates, with Ginger, Almonds or other stuff. I bought two different types of only licorice, one is made with spelt flour, they are both organic.
Today is Andrew‘s birthday, the Andrew who lives in Wagga Wagga. In the evening we were walking to a pub, The Blamey Hotel. It‘s a big pub and has very loud music. We had some drinks, I use to drink Coke Zero while the others had beer. There was Karaoke night, some singers were pretty good. I can‘t be in loud pubs too long. It was different in times when I was drinking alcohol, but that’s history.
Most pubs have a courtesy service in Australian towns. It‘s a service where somebody from the pub will drive you home. In my case Andrew thought I would get lost when walking home by myself in the dark. It‘s about a 30 minutes walk. So they called the courtesy service and Bianca, a nice local lady, got me home. Time to rest…
