The second-to-last day in Gopika’s beautiful apartment. I will not join Satsang today, but I will go into the Ashram for Meditation. It is less crowded now, it seems there are no celebrations in the next days. In India, there are so many holidays and celebrations all year, no way to name them all here.
I did some shopping in the supermarket and had a chai in my favourite shop. I didn’t feel like doing much today, I was home home reading and writing. For lunch, I went to Amrutham Restaurant and had a delicious Thali. It’s a bit more expensive here, if you think 230 Rupees is expensive. I stopped at the dentist on Post Office Road, everybody calls it Post Office Road, in fact, the name is Chengam Road, 4th St. I wanted to ask the doctor to do a teeth check. He said I can come at 18:00 and he will see my teeth.
It was a very relaxed day, and I had a two-hour nap before I left for the dentist. He checked everything in detail. Fortunately, I don’t have holes, but there are gaps at my crowns or bridges. Nothing urgent, and he suggested getting some virgin coconut oil to protect my gums. I have to keep a spoonful of it in my mouth two or three times a day. He made an appointment for next Tuesday to clean my teeth.
At the supermarket, I bought virgin coconut oil for 210 Rupees. Using coconut oil is easy for me as I love the taste and smell of coconut.
