The day started with Satsang in the Ashram of Ganga Maa. There are still many people now, in January is peak season in Tiru.
Just after Satsang, I went to the dentist. I have an appointment today. It’s just cleaning the teeth of calcium. This doctor is extremely sensitive and gentle, and I feel completely at ease with him. He spent 90 minutes cleaning my teeth, which was quite a long session. He took photos and a video before and after. My teeth are shiny white now from behind. He also realised that my bridge needs to be renewed, as there is a big gap between the teeth. He said that when I get caries, a root canal treatment would follow up. So it might be good to change it now. A bridge will be between 20.000 and 40.000 Rupees, depending on whether it is an implant or not. He has to take X-ray pictures first. I have an appointment for Saturday to do that.
Next, I drove to the SBI ATM and withdrew 10.000 Rupees. I needed some more cash, although I am paying for many things with my UPI app now. Back home, I had a rest and a good nap for nearly two hours. Today I wanted to go up Arunachala for a while, visiting the Skanda Ashram. It was already past 16:00, and the back gate of the Ashram would close at 17:30. I was walking up the rocky path for the next 30 minutes.

I was sweating when I reached the Skanda Ashram. It was closed already at 15:30, and I was a bit late. I tested for a while before I went down again. There was still this Indian lady selling orange and pomegranate juice, freshly pressed and without sugar added. I continued walking down after drinking the juice. There were many monkeys around, they can be very naughty, taking things from people, even handbags, you have to be aware of them. When I reached the back gate of the Ashram, it was closed, and I was three minutes late. So I had to walk around the Ashram barefoot. Not a big deal, many people are walking barefoot in India. I got my flip flops out of the Ashram and walked over towards the supermarket. Also, Gopika asked me to bring her some Idlis. I got them in the Restaurant of Hotel Ananda Ramana. Then I drove to Gopika’s home. She was better with her stomach, but not good enough yet. I restored her CyberGhost VPN on her phone.
I was resting in my apartment and writing, some coding.
