Bhakti (Devotion)

Real bhakti happens when the bhakta is non-existent and God alone remains.

Time to leave this beautiful place is coming closer. My last breakfast in Tasty Cafe for a while. My second-last Satsang with Ganga Maa for a while.

After Satsang I drove to Jordan, he invited me to have Mate with him. On the way to the house where he is living these days, I passed a beautiful forest. It makes such a difference to the always noisy city. He lives close to the river in the small forest nearby.

Asma is the owner of this house. She is a Tamil artist, she seems to be a popular painter in India and other countries. She will be in Germany soon.

A river and a lake nearby

Jordan and I were sitting and talking for quite a while and drinking Mate. Jordan is Argentinian with an Italian passport. He is just travelling these days, he is renting out his apartment in Buenos Aires.

Many goats passing

On the way back, many goats were passing along. I had to wait until they all passed. I was thinking about having some lunch, either at Sathya’s or The Inner Child Rest. I choose The Inner Child Rest. There I met Mirka. I had some sourdough bread with beetroot hummus, kind of special. We were talking for a while, then we left. Back home the WiFi still didn’t work, since 3-4 days already. I had still time for a nap. When I woke up the WiFi was also up. I started packing. Not much to do, packing some clothes and small electronic stuff. I will leave my old Lenovo laptop here, don’t need it anymore. It’s an old and heavy one, the digits for 5 and 6 are not working. Maybe somebody will fix it here.

I had an appointment with Jonatan and Mirka for dinner at Sathya’s. We all had some Masala Dosa. Jonatan was asking for chai later but Dakshnamurti was too busy, 10 Indians just arrived for dinner. His daughter and son-in-law left already, so they didn’t have help anymore. But his son Nero was there. He is usually working in Chennai as an police officer. We went to Ramana Restaurant then, we knew Uma, Shankar, and Freddy would be there. We got our chai and had some fun talking about many things. It was a lovely last evening for me, good to make some friends here.
