Another morning having Satsang with Ammani. This morning, when I entered the rooftop, I didn’t greet Ammani with a Namaste as usual. I was just looking to find a chair. I felt a bit strange about myself. After Satsang, I drove to the supermarket, got some cheese and other things. On the road, I stopped to give alift to an Indian hitchhiker. He was dressed in white and looked quite unkempt. When I stopped opposite the supermarket, he asked me for money. I didn’t give him any. I am getting asked for money ten times every day, more or less. I walked over to Ramana Supermarket and got the last loaf for 100 Rupees. Then I stopped at the SBI ATM to withdraw 10.000 Rupees. Back to my scooter, I intended to drive home. Before I stopped at my favourite veggie street stand to buy some ginger for 30 Rupees.

I had some lunch at home and a little nap. Today I wanted to drive to Aruna Villages. There is a guy named Om Rama, whom I wanted to meet for Satsang.

It’s a bit outside Tiru direction to Perumbakkam, maybe a 10-15 minute ride. On the way, a bike next to me called me and asked if I could give an old Indian lady a lift. We stopped, and she changed the bike. After some minutes, she asked me to go left onto an unpaved road. I dropped her art in her little hut. She was asking me, although she didn’t speak English really well, if I wanted some lemon flowers. I turned my scooter in the meantime. I thought she would give me some as a gift. But she was asking for 200 Rupees. It would be worth 10-20 Rupees. I said ‘No’ and continued driving.

When I was checking Google Maps for where to go, I must have been near already, I saw a message from my dentist to come to his practice at 17:30. I thought I would join Satsang with Om Rama at another time and drove back.

My dentist, whose name is Abishek Kaushik, showed me the bridge and tried to fit the dental bridge. But it didn’t fit properly. He had to fill something into my teeth who should hold the bridge. He said we will order a new one. He made a new dental impression. The bridge will be ready next week.

I had some dinner at the German Cafe; this time it was open. I tried twice before with Sarah, but it was always closed. I ordered a Chana Masala with rice. On the way back, I stopped for an ice cream, my favourite Butter Scotch Cone. Back home, I rested and watched the movie ‘The Darjeeling Limited’, which Sarah recommended.
