I was lucky to be confimed for 8 days in the Ashram. The guesthouse is a nice place, although I hear the noisy street from my room. My sleep was better with the mosquito repellant last night. I didn’t make it for 07:00 breakfast but for 09:00 Puja. Puja is a worship ritual performed by Hindus to offer devotional homage and prayer to one or more deities, to host and honour a guest, or to spiritually celebrate an event.
After Puja I was walking to Sadhya’s Cafe. It’s 20 min. to walk. My friend Gopika gave me the tip to ask around here for accomodation and to rent a scooter. When I entered Sadhya’s Cafe there was a nice Indian lady and a young man. I had a chai and asked if they know where to get a room or appartement. And yes, they had some, I went out with the guy and he showed me three rooms. I just have to choose, will move in next Tuesday. This aera is much more quiet than around the Ashram. They have fast WiFi here, so I don’t have to use my mobile data all the time. And 50 meters from there I also could rent a scooter. I tested it, all worked well and I could start. He even didn’t ask for a deposit or my name, I just have his phone number.

For lunch it was the first time that I was sitting on a table. They have some tables along the walls in the dining hall. It is much easier for me than sitting on a hard floor with crossed legs and eating.
I don’t drink coffee here in India, what is very unusual for me. Mostly the coffee isn’t well prepared here. India is a chai country. Also I didn’t eat chocolate yet, but other sweets or nuts or buscuits. People said you might get headache when stop drinking coffee, but not for me. So it’s a proof that I am not coffee addicted, when I can stop it immediately. Although I really love coffee. I will drink a coffee when I find a good place.

In the afternoon I was trying to drive my scooter in this mad traffic. It worked quite well. In India everybody is just driving wherever is space, no rules, no lines. First I was driving to a petrol station, got some premium petrol. It should work better to drive with premium petrol. Then I was looking for a lungi. The lungi is a clothing similar to the sarong that originated in the Indian subcontinent. The lungi, which usually multicoloured,[1] is a men’s skirt usually tied around the lower waist below the navel. I got a white one, also good as a light blanket for the night, it’s warm in the night, so I don’t need a real blanket.

Anyway no car or bike will stop at a crosswalk, they are good for nothing.
