Silence is the most potent form of work.
My intention this morning was to join Satsang with Sharada Ma. I thought I’d start a bit earlier to get a chair somewhere in the middle of the room. At first, I missed the gate and had to drive back. I was looking for the Satsang sign. Then I arrived at 08:35, but the gate was closed. I was wondering why, maybe she is sick? I looked at the invitation on my phone. Satsang starts at 10:00 and not at 09:00.
I wasn’t sure what to do next. I could drive home and come back one hour later. The weather wasn’t very welcoming; it still felt like rain. I could join Satsang with Ammani; it wouldn’t be far from here. I decided to drive home and send a message to a friend, whom I postponed. Later, I was happy to have done this. I got some veggies on the way; I needed tomatoes, carrots, and onions.
I have been to the Ashram before 11:00; the Ashram closes daily from 11:00 – 14:00. I got some petrol down the road and thought about lunch. It was still a bit too early, so I drove back home again. Around 12:30, I started again. I thought I could have lunch at Akash Inn. There is a buffet sometimes, but I just don’t know on which days. I was lucky, it’s on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I had a good lunch with rice, a variety of Indian dishes, and sweets.
Later, after my nap, Iwas again in the Ashram, sitting in the hall and outside. I was thinking about Max from Australia, who should arrive today. One minute later, I saw him. I walked towards him, we spoke for some seconds, got reminded by the guard not to talk here. We were sitting down in front of the office then, and had a chat when another guard came and asked everybody to leave the stairs. We found another place near the Ashram gate where we could talk. As we got hungry, we walked over to Hotel Ananda Ramana and had a Special Masala Dosa.
After dinner, we separated. Max had a room in Post Office Road. I went to my scooter and drove towards the Lassi House, where there was ice cream on my mind. I had vanilla ice cream, chocolate was out. Back home, I was resting…
