Sunday morning, Kirtan morning. Around 09:15, I walked over to Sunshine Guesthouse. There would be Kirtan with Upahar. Touching as usual, I spent 90 minutes. Before it started, I had a nice chat with Grant, who was born in New Zealand. After Kirtan, I walked straight to Edwin’s for lunch. Camilla, Yashoda, and others were already there. It was quite busy there. At 13:00, another group of people arrived. They joined a retreat and came here for lunch.

I left and walked to my apartment. It was time to rest in the afternoon. I would walk the Girivalam in the evening. It would be a four-hour walk again. At 17:15, I jumped on my scooter and drove towards Chengam Road, from where I wanted to walk. I just wanted to park my scooter when I realised that I was in flip-flops instead of my hiking shoes. I drove back just to change shoes. And back again. I parked the scooter on the side of Perumbakkam Road. There were many cars parked. I started walking. This time I was really in the crowd, just before the fullmoon. When I walked with Sarah last time, we did so one day later, and there were fewer people. I had some juice and food on the way; it was quite fun.

At the last bit, I stopped again at the Lassi House and had a butterscotch fudge ice cream, the same as last full-moon.

That’s a butterscotch fudge

Around the big temple, it is always getting very crowded and tight, because many people stop to make their prayers. I was back home before 22:00, happy and tired.
