Today is Saturday, and I skipped Satsang. Sometimes it’s good just without any activities starting at a certain time. But I was at the Ashram until 11:00, when it closed. I did some shopping in the supermarket, got a papaya at a street stand, and ice cream for the freezer in another small shop near my apartment.
I just locked my apartment when Gopika called me. As she lost all her WhatsApp chats, she asked me to send her the Indian Visa. I planned to have lunch at Akash Inn, where there should be a buffet on the weekend. When I arrived, there was no buffet. I asked the guy for the timing. He said it is Saturday and Sunday from 18:00 onwards. I was pondering for a while where to go. I decided to have lunch at Ramana’s cafe. I haven’t been there just once for a chai this season. I had vegetable gravy with rice, but it was quite boring. It didn’t have much taste. I wouldn’t go there anymore.
Back in my apartment, I was reading and had a nap. I woke up past 16:30 where the reading in the Ashram would start. But I remember Max saying that there is no reading on Saturdays. Anyway, I left for the Ashram to sit down for a while. I was sitting outside, and as usual, I forgot to use the mosquito repellent before. Mosquitos can really annoy you here. There were many Indian tourists in the Ashram as it is weekend.
I had a chai opposite, then I had a second attempt at Akash Inn. This time, the buffet was available. There was quite a good variety of food, including salads, curd, and sweets. When I paid, the price increased to 260 Rupees. I remember some weeks ago I paid 140 Rupees at lunch time. So not only the timing changed, but also the price.
When I was home, I could feel my stomach a little. I was eating too fast, I think. It happens sometimes when I am eating alone, as I am not talking or listening then. But it was just short-term, then I was good again. I had a peaceful evening and night then.
