Death
Unconscious death of the ego is death of the body. Conscious death of the ego is samadhi.
Kerry, Felix, and Rohid left for the beach early. Some days, they go to ‘Change Your Mind’, a beach Restaurant at Morjim Beach. Morjim Beach is south of Ashvem Beach, where Zorba’s Vibes is located. Kabir left with Shivaji for the hospital in Mapusa. A little benign tumor in his neck will be removed, fortunately, it is nothing dangerous.
I left around noon. I was curious about Morjim Beach, so I drove in this direction. On the way, I stopped at a Restaurant, where I had a very delicious South Indian Thali.
Reaching Morjim I had to find the way coming close to the Restaurant ‘Change Your Mind’. I parked my scooter and walked the rest of the way to the beach. Some more shacks are around here providing food and drinks, many deckchairs but not too many people.

After 50 more meters, I saw Kerry and the guys. I chose a deckchair and did what I wanted to do there, reading, listening to music, or simply doing nothing. That’s the moment my Brazilian friend Marc in Portugal used to say, ‘Chandresh, we have a hard life’. So I spent the afternoon, watching people coming and going. It’s a younger generation here as in Candolim Beach at Dmellos Shack. Not youngsters but younger than me. Per my definition, old is who is older than me, young is who is younger than me, simple as that. Lovely day, bu as I mentioned before some hours at the beach is always enough for me. So I started packing my few things and went back to my scooter.
In the meantime, I find my way without using Google Maps. If I miss the right road I still can use it. But today I got it, just stopped at a supermarket to buy some milk and nuts.
Today is Kerry’s last day here in Assagao. He and his son Felix are flying back to Frankfurt, Germany. Rohid will fly back to Pune, India. Kerry ordered some Indian food for all of us. In these times delivery of food is a big business in India. Domino Pizza has also branches in India, I mean here are 1,45 Billion people. Zomato is a very common delivery service in India and some others. So we had our last dinner together, their flight was at 04:00 the next morning.
