Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are. ~Brené Brown~
Another restful, peaceful day. Satsang with Ammani in the morning feels rejuvenating. On the way back, I got some ginger at the corner of Perumbakkam Road. I was home shortly before I left for lunch at Edwin’s. It was delicious as usual. A man was sitting at my table, his name was Marc, if I remember correctly. He was born in Utah, and now he is living in Aljezur in the Algarve, not far from where I live. Ulrica was joining me at the table. I met Ulrica before at Sathya’s Cafe. We had a good talk, and after lunch we walked over to Wild Child for a coffee or tea.
Richard was sitting at a table with another man. His name was Stephan, from Germany. We joined them and had a really good sharing about our lives. It’s interesting to listen to all these stories. Stephan was a professional photographer, even in war zones. Richard met Sai Baba when he was younger. He had some deep spiritual experiences from that time. After a while, Richard got his Tarot cards from his apartment, and we had a funny session with the cards. I haven’t done this for decades. The cards are just cards. But whatever cards are chosen, you will find some relation to your personal life. It’s a funny game, but not transforming.
In the afternoon, I met Kalai at my place. I asked her to have a look at my sink in the kitchen, which was blocked. She just removed the tube from the floor; there was a lot of dirt stuck. I cleaned it later, and the water can flow again. I also paid my rent for February. She was happy.
I have been to the Ashram for a while. It was too late for the reading, but I enjoyed some Meditation. On the way back home, I bought some ice cream for the freezer. The rest of the day was just relaxing.
