The Self
We cannot experience the Self because the Self is the experience of all experiences.
What happened today? Kabir left with Shivaji for the hospital in Mapusa. The cannula in his neck will be removed today. I started coding for our new app. The morning passed quickly. At noon, I left for Morjim Beach. Reaching there I chose my deckchair. A waiter came and I asked him to bring me a Banana Milkshake. I rested, read, and listened to music with my new headphones. After a while, I went to the ocean for a refreshment. It was low tide, the water was far back, it makes a difference here, the beach is quite huge. I spent a while in the water, just a few people were in the water.
There were not many people around, I was just in front of Change Your Mind Restaurant. But these people were quite busy, always moving around from here to there. Indian women appeared with some religious catholic pictures, I guess they wanted some money. Other Indian women asked me to massage my feet. A young Indian disabled boy asked me for money. Somehow I was not in the mood today for all these distractions. I didn’t stay long today.
I was driving back home to Assagao. On the way, I stopped at Jimmy’s Supermarket in Siolim. My phone was ringing. It was Andrew, my friend from the Camino Francés in 2023. We met several times on the 900 km distance, the last two weeks we walked together and had a really good time. I asked him to call him back when I was home.

We had a long talk. Andrew quit his job, he is living in district Adelaide in South Australia. He was already buying another 1200 square meter property with a big shade on it and will sell his actual house. He says he needs a change in his life, more time for traveling. We were talking about the different Caminos in Spain and Portugal. So we might walk together this or next year. He also invited me to come next year and visit him in Australia. I would love it as Australia is still on my bucket list.
I was buying an eBook today about app programming. It will be helpful to get a deeper understanding of some special technics as accessing GPS data etc. So this way it will be a good start …
