The best Ginger chai in town

It’s my birthday, 64 years I completed now. Opposite the Ashram gate is my favourite chai-shop. A good start for a birthday. He makes such a good Ginger chai. He knows me already as I am every day here. And when you are treating people friendly it will come back, usually.

The Ashram and the streets are even more crowded today. At 10:30 already there was a public feeding in the Ashram, with huge pans and hundreds of people. I went to the dining hall at 11:30, also more people than usual.

I was driving to Sampath this morning, the guy who rent me the scooter. But it was closed, it’s Sunday, and not everybody is working every day.

It was a lazy day, after lunch in the Ashram I bought a bunch of bananas then had a nap for two hours. Some work with my laptop, I love that.

I guess in Tiruvannamalai are more temples and Ashrams then churches in Bavaria. But I didn’t count.

At night I left again for this nice Restaurant where I have been some days ago, Auro Usha Restaurant.

It’s nice to eat and rest here, relaxed atmoshere and the street noise is a bit more blocked. My first black coffee today. But somehow it is not the same in India for me. I am used to drink chai in India. And fast internet in the Restaurant with glass fibre.
