Guidance for Seekers
‘Summa Iru’ (Be Still) is an instruction neither for the Self nor for the body, but for the ego.
Days pass quietly and peacefully (except for the construction noise from the neighbor). It doesn’t need to be exciting things in my life constantly. From time to time they will happen anyway. Just being open to the things happening and responding to them, that’s enough.
After Meditation and breakfast, I worked on my laptop until noon. Shivaji came with his employee to do some garden work and cleaning, he cleaned my room and veranda as well. At one point the noise from the cement mixer started. I went to the kitchen to prepare a chai. Kabir was to leave for the beach in Arambol, ‘Love Temple’ was his destination. I kept on working a bit more, then I prepared to go as well, the noise from this machine was quite intense. I also prepared to drive to Arambol, for the second time this season. ‘Love Temple’ was closed last time, there must be some problems with their license. It’s a 40-minute drive to Arambol. Coming close to Arambol I stopped at a Restaurant ‘Blue Sea View’ and had some lunch. It was a Restaurant with a big veranda and a nice view of the ocean. I ordered some food and a lime soda.

Finishing my lunch I continued to Arambol Beach, which was not far anymore. I reached it, there was this huge parking lot full of cars and bikes. I parked my scooter and went to the beach. A busy beach with lots of deckchairs and Indian tourists.

I walked along the beach, it took some minutes to reach ‘Love Temple’. I looked for Kabir but he wasn’t there. Some Westerners were around, ‘Love Temple’ is renting out some small pavilions for accommodation here. This part is more quiet, just a few people in the shacks and on the beach, and fisherboats are waiting for their next trip at night.

I found Kabir at the beach, he was playing golf along the beach and must have been walking three km and back. We went back to ‘Love Temple’ but they didn’t serve us food and drinks. So we left for another shack close by and stayed there the rest of the afternoon.

Kabir completely relaxed in the here and now 😂
Around 17:00 we left, separately as we parked at different places. Back home I made a coffee and some bread with cheese and tomatoes. Later we had our evening Meditation.
Tonight another guest will arrive, Maha from Italian Switzerland. She has been here before. I will meet her tomorrow.
