Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom. ~Aristotle~
It’s Friday morning. I woke up, had a coffee, and started reading. I thought it would be better to get petrol before going to Satsang. I used quite a lot yesterday, driving to Kollur Swami and Gia Mantra. Better to be on the safe side and not run out of fuel. I got out of my bed and jumped on my scooter. It takes 7-8 minutes to reach the next petrol station. I got a full tank and headed home. It was still before Satsang, and Lokesh wanted to join, waiting on the road for me.
When I started, I couldn’t see Lokesh; probably he changed his mind. Satsang was lovely as usual. I feel more and more that these days are the last in Tiru, before I fly back to Portugal. After Satsang, I met this Russian guy again, asking me for a lift. I once gave him a lift towards Ammani. I dropped him off at Sathya’s Cafe. He did the Girivalam (Pradakshina) last night and was very tired. I went home and rested before having some bread here.
In the afternoon, I have been in the Ashram, meditating and joining the reading. I had a plan to walk the Girivalam this evening. Before I did some shopping, the usual standards, such as bread, butter, cheese, milk, and ice cream.
I started at 18:00 to walk from the corner of Perumbakkam Road. There were not many people walking the Girivalam on Friday. I enjoyed it and had sugarcane juice. I didn’t stop for food; somehow, I was not hungry. I just bought a small bottle of water and later had some Samosa, already at the big temple. It only took me three hours and twenty minutes this time; I was pretty fast. Glad when I reached my scooter, I was driving home and rested.
